Mavis Kitchen is homey and inviting, the kitchen gardens lush with flowers and seasonal vegetables which they build their restaurant menu around. Mt Warning looms over the valley creating a dramatic backdrop. Dan & Helene’s intimate wedding took place in the Spring of 2019, bushfires were tearing through the East Coast of Australia, smoke and heat haze hung in the air. Now that I’ve set the scene, which is still so vivid in my mind, I’ll allow the images to tell you the story of this day. A day so full of love, joy and friendship.
